What should I buy and which products are appropriate for me?

You will find out which type of KetoMix diet you should choose if you enter your data into our BMI calculator. You will then see how much weight you should lose in order to reach your optimum weight, or whether you actually need to lose weight at all. We offer diets for various levels of excess weight and the duration of the diet is also chosen depending on this. You will find all the food you need for the entire diet in the package that suits your BMI.

Where can you find out what the individual packages contain?

You can find the content of the individual packages on the page with the specific package. You can also order additional products that are not included in the package, whether they be additional cocktail flavours, additional protein foods or other food products and seasonings.

How long can I expect to wait for delivery of my package with the products?

We use reliable Geis courier services and Zásilkovna. The parcels will be delivered to your home or to Zásilkovna within three weeks.

What will the parcel look like?

You will receive your order discreetly packed in a box. The parcel contains packets of meals, a shaker and a brochure with the diet programme, menu and recipes.

How heavy is the parcel? Will I be able to carry it?

The biggest parcel weighs around 5 kilograms.

Can I pay by bank transfer or card?

You can use both the above-mentioned payment methods when ordering and paying in our e-shop.

Can I also purchase KetoMix in a brick-and-mortar store?

Not at this time unfortunately.

Is your diet also suitable for men?

This diet is based on the reduced consumption of carbohydrates, which will put your body into ketosis. The biochemical reactions of men and women are the same, which is why our diet is suitable for everyone, regardless of sex or age.

I am ill, can I lose weight with your diet?

If you have a short-term illness, flu for instance, then start the diet only after you are healthy again. Or interrupt the diet and start it again when you are recovered. If you suffer from a chronic illness, read the list of illnesses during which this diet is forbidden and consult with your doctor. You can find contraindications for this diet here.

s it possible that this diet is not appropriate for me and that I will not lose weight on it?

If you follow all the instructions, you will lose weight. Your body’s biochemical processes will make sure of it. But watch out! Even just one sweetened coffee or apple can interrupt your weight-loss.

I am 80 years old; can I lose weight with your diet?

We recommend that clients over 65 years of age consult with a doctor before starting our diet. If your doctor considers you healthy, there should be no problem losing weight.

Is the diet also suitable for children, pregnant and breast-feeding women?

The KetoMix diet is not appropriate for any of the groups specified above. If anyone from one of the groups above wishes to use our diet to lose weight, they should first consult a doctor.

Principle of the KetoMix diet

What is a ketone diet?

The ketone diet, which is also sometimes called a low-carbohydrate or protein diet, is a diet with a reduced carbohydrate content and increased consumption of proteins. Your body goes into ketosis, during which it burns its own fat instead of sugars. The name of the diet is derived from the word ketosis. How long does it take to go into ketosis and start losing weight?

The entire process is very fast. You only need two to three days from starting the KetoMix diet for your body to reprogram itself and start using ketones, which it produces from fat stores as a replacement for carbohydrates, as a source of energy. The number on the scales will start to go down rapidly from the third day.

How long do I have to stay on the diet?

It depends on who many kilos you need to lose. The rule is that you should remain in the first phase of the diet for at least one week and a maximum of eight weeks. The greater your excess weight, the longer we recommend you stay in the first phase. The maximum period for which you can stay on the entire diet (1st + 2nd phases) should not exceed 14 weeks.

We offer a range of protein cocktails. Does this mean that I will only be drinking one type throughout the entire diet?

KetoMix is the only product on the market that offers a cocktail flavouring powder separately. You purchase the protein drink and then choose three flavours to go with it. You then adapt the cocktail and modify the sweetness by adding an amount of powder. You can also order additional flavours in the protein drink section. You can currently choose from flavours. The only exception is the vegan cocktail, which is chocolate flavoured. You can also choose from many other meals.

What happens if I don’t eat five meals a day?

You could cause your body to lose muscle mass, which this diet attempts to avoid. KetoMix meals are tasty and you should try to eat five meals a day even if you do not feel hungry. This is also why you should keep eating this often after you finish the diet, in order to avoid the yo-yo effect.

What if I leave out one meal and then have two meals at once?

This will not put your diet at risk. But, because we want you to maintain good eating habits after you finish the diet, we recommend you eat at the correct intervals. You will see for yourselves that when your metabolism starts functioning correctly, your body will “ask” for food after three hours.

What happens if I cheat during my diet and eat something sweet?

If you cheat on your diet and eat something with increased carbohydrates (this may even include a banana), your body will “drop” out of ketosis. This will slow the entire weight-loss process and you will have to transition into ketosis again. However, we don’t think you need to cheat on the KetoMix diet. We also offer an excellent range of low-carbohydrate chocolate and nut spreads. You can also bake KetoMix bread or buns. If you want to cheat, try one of these.

Is it enough to just purchase some of your products? Will that mean I lose weight?

It is easier to purchase the entire package. However, you can certainly also purchase our products separately. But before you do so, study the diet plans carefully so you know how often to eat and how long you should stay on the diet. Some of our customers purchase individual KetoMix meals even after they finish the diet. Simply because they enjoy the taste and they can be included in your normal diet, or used to replace ordinary ingredients.

Can I also eat food other than KetoMix products?

During the first phase you can add 20 grams of nuts and 500 grams of permitted vegetables to the five KetoMix meals. In general, all vegetables that are green are acceptable. Other vegetables are not recommended due to their increased carbohydrate content. During the second phase you eat three KetoMix meals a day and cook the other two. However, these meals must follow the rules of a low-carbohydrate diet. One kilogram of vegetables and 20 grams of nuts are permitted during this phase. You will receive detailed information in the brochure you receive with the menu in the package you order.

Can I lose weight on a keto diet eating normal food?

Yes, you can. However, the entire process will require much more effort from you than if you simply use the KetoMix diet. You will have to cook and carefully monitor the food and calories your consume. The KetoMix diet is much more comfortable and pleasant.

Can I take nutritional supplements?

All our products contain the vitamins and minerals that your body needs while you are on the diet. Of course, you can also take other nutritional supplements. The only condition is that these do not contain sugar.

Do your products contain chemical additives?

Apart from synthetic vitamins, which occur in vitamin products normally, KetoMix products do not contain any chemicals. You will find that our products contain minerals and fibre as well as vitamins. Our products are completely free of added glutamate and harmful emulsifiers.

What about the yo-yo effect? Won’t I gain the weight back again after I finish the diet?

If you pick-up poor eating habits again, then you will gain weight. This applies to all diets. Frequent snacking, eating too much in the evening, large portion sizes, and also too much alcohol - will all mean that you regain your original weight. It is important that you re-evaluate what you eat and maintain all the habits we tried to teach you during our diet. Eating regular meals, thinking about what you eat and how many carbohydrates there are in a specific meal, eating enough vegetables, correctly chosen, low-fat sources of protein and your fluid intake. You know all this and are able to apply it. It is up to you now. Add the correct source of carbohydrates, such as wholegrain bread and fruit, avoid fried side dishes and you will have a healthy, balanced diet. If you eat a diet like this, you won’t gain weight.

KetoMix diet and drinks

What about drinks? Can I drink coffee or tea?

Your fluid intake is very important during the ketone diet. You should drink 2 -3 litres a day. Avoid sweetened beverages and juice. You can drink coffee and tea (without dried fruit) but don’t add sugar. If you do need to sweeten your drink, use chicory syrup. You can add 200 ml of milk to your coffee a day. We recommend you drink water and mineral water without sugar. You can add lemon to your drinks (max. one a day).

What about the KetoMix diet and alcohol?

Drinking alcohol during a ketone diet follows clear rules. We recommend a maximum of one hundred millimeters of low-carbohydrate KetoMix wine a day. Your kidneys and liver have to work a little harder when you are on a protein diet and more alcohol would simply add to their burden. Drinking spirits is forbidden. Beer contains a large amount of sugar and is also not permitted.

KetoMix diet and health

I heard that you can have health issues as a result of a ketone diet....

If you are allergic to lactose, milk, soy, eggs or mustard, then we do not recommend this diet. You can also find a list of disorders during which this diet is forbidden on our website. Otherwise, this diet is suitable for everyone and is designed so that it fully replaces normal meals. On the contrary, for many of our clients this diet has worked as a medicine - their back pain or joint pain has been alleviated, their blood values have levelled out, their depression or acne has improved. If you still have any doubts, consult whether this diet is appropriate with your doctor.

I heard that your hair could fall out on a ketone diet.

This diet has a positive impact on most people. Their skin becomes less greasy, skin issues disappear. However, we do see increased hair loss in a few cases. If this happens, immediately start the second phase of the diet. This should alleviate any issues.

I started the KetoMix diet and I have now started to feel worse after a few days.

You can experience headaches, nervousness, nausea or fatigue after three to five days. However, these symptoms mean that your body is going into ketosis and should disappear after a few hours, or possibly days. This is a signal that your body has started burning fat, and thereby losing weight. If these difficulties persist, consult your doctor.

Will I have digestive issues?

If you eat the recommended amount of vegetables, you should not have digestive issues. You may have gas at the beginning of the diet. But this should disappear after a few days as your body gets used to consuming proteins and vegetables.

Diet and exercise

Do I have to exercise every day on the KetoMix diet?

There is no need for physical activity during this diet. However, regular exercise is certainly beneficial. You have to choose the right activity - so-called aerobic activity. This includes fast walking, cycling, using an exercise bike or Orbitrek machine. Don’t overestimate your potential. But don’t avoid exercise.

Can I visit a gym?

Weight training and other heavy performance sports are not recommended - your body may have less energy thanks to the reduced intake of carbohydrates. Replace these activities with walking, yoga or cycling.
